Saab's new

flagship

In Brunnshög, Lund, Saab has brought together its offices and operations in a new workplace where advanced research, production, and collaboration come together.
Here, Saab develops and maintains advanced systems for submarines and surface vessels—together with Combitech, Saab's sister company with expertise in areas such as software, system development, and cyber security.

  • Brunnshög, Lund

  • Project coordination, furniture delivery, assembly, and furnishing for an environment classified as a protected site.

    Account Manager: Isabell Gahlin

    Project Coordinator: Sofie Ifwer

  • 24,000 square meters, approximately 1,000 employees.

Lounges, conference rooms, restaurant areas, entrances, meeting rooms, and laboratory environments

Here, every surface had to be designed for both focus and rapid problem solving – while also meeting very high security requirements. The location in Brunnshög, close to the research environments in Lund/Science Village, strengthens the link between everyday work and innovation.

A project of this size involves many parallel needs: approximately 1,000 employees, large office spaces, and a total area of approximately 24,000 square meters, with environments that must support everything from concentrated work to meetings, community, and testing activities.

Senab joined the project in the fall of 2024, and the move-in date was set for the fall of 2025. The work had to be coordinated with several parties in an environment classified as a protected site.

By supplying high-quality, sustainable furniture solutions for the project's central areas – lounges, conference rooms, restaurant areas, entrances, meeting rooms, and laboratory environments – Senab has contributed to a furnishing solution that can withstand heavy use, creates flexibility over time, and works in everyday life, from the first meeting in the entrance hall to the working day in the lab and meeting rooms.

The final result

The result of a great collaboration between Saab, Tenant Partner, and Strategisk Arkitektur has created a cohesive workplace where architecture, function, and culture interact—with environments that make it easier to switch between focus, collaboration, and recovery. With high-quality furniture choices in the most frequently used areas, Saab has gained a stable foundation for a long-lasting working environment in a building developed specifically for their business.
