Coworking is not only here to stay, the need for flexible work opportunities is increasing as more and more types of businesses see the benefits of letting someone else take care of the physical work environment and share everyday life with others. Convendum is part of the revolution where coworking is the new normal - but also takes it to a whole new level.

Background

Convendum opened its first coworking space in 2016 in Stockholm. Since the start, they have had consistently strong growth, much thanks to the fact that they are at the absolute forefront and that Convendum realized early on that there was a growing market even outside the startup scene. Convendum is really driving the coworking revolution forward with top-class service and maximum flexibility where both hybrid offices and larger offices and even company housing are included in the overall concept.

When establishing one of Convendum's new modern offices in Glashuset at Slussen in Stockholm, Senab was invited early in the process to deliver an interior design that reflected Convendum's high standards and visions. Convendum also sees it as its mission to create the right conditions for companies to grow and reach their full potential. What a perfect match!

Challenge

By developing and establishing modern coworking spaces in prime business locations, Convendum wants to meet the ever-increasing need for activity-based working. In addition to the scalability and flexibility that Convendum offers, they saw that something more was required to meet the need for faster changes to the tenants' interiors within the coworking spaces. The delivery required not only customized furniture and a concept in line with Convendum's profile, but also a smart and long-term solution for the special needs of flexibility.

The final result

Senab and Edsbyn were involved early in the project to develop a furniture concept that reflected Convendum's vision together with vice president Jakob Schlyter.

Senab has delivered all co-working spaces to Convendum Slussen via Edsbyn. The furniture is adapted to Convendum and their concept.

In parallel with the project, Senab is also establishing a warehouse to service all of Convendum's units in Stockholm. When tenants want to switch to individual workstations or make changes with co-working tables, they can do so quickly and efficiently as the products are stored in Stockholm.
